History
The Shafi Group was founded by Mian Muhammad Siddiq and Mian Abdul Hafeez in 1940. The Shafi group initially began as a trading house in raw leather hides and skins which later developed into a premier house in finished leather, leather shoes, Leather garments, chemicals, textile weaving, dairy and other consumable products. The Siddiq Shafi group specializes in manufacturing Leather shoes, Cow & Buffalo Leathers, Textile Garments, Chemicals and Rice-based derivates. The Siddiq Shafi group exports its products to 42 countries worldwide.
Shafi Pvt Limited – Apparel Division is our newest venture which we hope will increase our regional footprint as an exporter of fashionable bottom-wear twills and denim.

Our vision is to deliver value-added products to our customers worldwide using state of the art machinery, tools and professional human resource. we aim to produce sustainably and responsibly so that we can reduce our carbon footprint and serve the interest of all our stakeholders. We aim to achieve our goals through constantly investing in research and development, training our human resources and investing in state of the art machinery.
Our Mission
Shafi Private Limited – Apparel Division (Lahore) aims to produce and deliver 10,000 bottom-wear twills and denim per day by 2024.
OUR MAJOR ACCREDITIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Technological partners
With our Technological partners (Tonello, Yilmak, Triveneta, Brother, Juki) we aim to minimize the use of non / renewable energy resources. Our state of the art Biological ETP plant (1500 m3/ day) prevents discharging hazardous chemicals to the environment.
Green Energy
With the use of 700 KW of solar energy, Shafi Private Limited meets upto 50% of its electric needs. This helps in reducing CO2 emissions by 190000 kg every year. We plan on increasing our solar capacity to 1 MW by 2023.

Taking steps to help you lead
We are making denim garments more sustainable. We continue to invest in processes and business practices that are even better for the planet and its people. That includes equipment and technologies that lower the amount of water and energy we put into a pair of jeans. And we continually invest in innovating products that help lead the industry in reducing harmful impacts of denim from agriculture to landfills.
-Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-
The Group companies also provide financial and material assistance to a large number of government schools working in the catchment areas as the majority of workers employed in these companies belong to neighboring villages and communities.
- - The Group has established in the home town of its directors, a campus for Degree awarding College in Chiniot (Punjab). This is a purpose-built campus established for the education of poor community.
- - Facilitation to their job work contractors is also part of their CSR activities. The Group companies fulfil their CSA responsibilities on a philanthropic basis
- - For different strata of society. The companies are also involved in the promotion of education (formal and informal) for the low-income group.
- - To help improve the working conditions of women in the country, Shafi Private Limited is operating stitching training centers where women learn the arts to earn for their families.
- - We believe in providing equal opportunities for both gender resources. Creating an engaging and fruitful atmosphere for them to learn and grow helps to take a company ahead on its success.
